Good to know! So what is this policy? Are all player characters suspended or dested when they sign up for imm.? I've always been of the opinion that anyone involved in administration should be barred from having any kind of active, competitive players. The potential for abuse is way too great.

You're absolutely right, Davis.
Think of it this way, your characters are arrested to see if building or coding is really what you want to do. Because yes, the temptation for using the power may or may not be there.
The one concern I do have of late is that everyone wants to improve the Mud by becoming an Immortal.. usually that would be a good thing, but by doing so we've made our player base the size of a pea. Newbies rarely like to play on an empty mud. So I guess I'm curious as to if anyone has any advertising ideas? Websites? Friends? Other games? I'd just hate to see the Mud move backwards because we have no actual "players".

My grandson just turned seven and will be giving it a try soon whether he likes it or not, lol. Establishing and holding a player base is a bit of a mystery to me. We had one initially. How was that accomplished? It's a catch 22 situation. You need players to keep players. Harley said he'll promote the mud on his mailing list when it's ready. Can anyone define ready for us? In the meantime, I think I'll keep playing :)
